As a Graphic Designer and Art Director born in 1997 in Isfahan, Iran, I am deeply immersed in the intricate dance of form and function, creativity, and technical prowess. My current academic pursuit of an MFA in Art & Design, specializing in Graphic Design at Northern Illinois University, is an extension of my foundational BA in Graphic Design from the Art University of Isfahan. This journey from Iran to the United States has been a rich tapestry of learning, growth, and creative exploration.

My professional experiences are diverse and enriching. In 2023, as a Graphic Design Intern at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, I honed my ability to translate complex concepts into compelling visual narratives. In 2022, my role as a 2D Design Instructor at Northern Illinois University allowed me to share my passion and knowledge with aspiring designers, while my concurrent position as a Graduate Assistant deepened my understanding of the academic and practical aspects of design.

As a Freelance Designer, I pride myself on my versatility and innovation. My expertise spans a wide range of design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, After Effects, Figma, Adobe XD, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Substance 3D Stager, Corel Draw, and Microsoft Office. My skill set encompasses digital design, photography, 3D modeling, poster design, layout design, visual effects, logo design, web design, label design, packaging, and branding.

My artistic approach is characterized by a deep exploration of identity, narrative, and emotion. I strive to create work that reflects a profound exploration of self and a unique narrative shaped by my journey. My vision as an Art Director is to craft compelling visual stories that engage, inspire, and resonate, bridging cultural and emotional landscapes to connect with audiences on a profound level.

Images always attracted me. Since I can remember, the light, shadows, and colors in nature have always attracted me. That is why I intend to study visual arts, especially graphic design. Typography is the main element in my works because It not only delivers a message, it engages the reader. Every curve, every serif, and every contrast can have a powerful impact. Typography is used to communicate the tone of voice, personality, age, gender, and mood, and it can be easily manipulated.

Everything is stamped in my mind as visual codes, and that is why I am sensitive to images. Days of the week, years, humans and even sounds, each were as a code in my mind, which later I expressed referring to my visual encyclopedia. These codes were later presented as images that seemed to be a way to express my thoughts and feelings.

One of the important intellectual characteristics is minimalism, which I have always sought in my works. I even observe the minimalism which I am talking about in my everyday life; in my opinion, this creates a direct and valid relationship between the audience and the artwork, because of its essence.

Also, my own writings regarding my personal life which has been very influential on my overall artistic idea because of their relationship with the daily struggles that I had in Iran because of my identity, so in so many of my works, I tried to depict my true identity.

My professional journey in graphic design and art direction is not just a career choice but a profound expression of my identity and worldview. Through every project and every piece of art, I aim to merge technical skill with creative vision, bringing stories to life in a way that is both visually stunning and emotionally resonant. My dedication to exploring the depths of visual communication, combined with a commitment to minimalism and a deeply personal narrative, positions me uniquely in the field. As I continue to evolve as a designer and artist, my goal remains to create work that not only captivates but also connects, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers to speak a universal language of design.
